Wow we could not have stumbled into a better place. We were driving down the freeway hungry and started looking on Yelp when this place popped on our radar so we took the exit and drove straight here to check it out. When we got here, there was a buffet set up, and it turns out that all of March is when they fast. We just happened to come in at sunset when they started the buffet. Not being familiar with the The culture we went ahead and ordered from the menu, but I can say the buffet looked outstanding. We ordered three kebabs that were recommended, and that was enough for two people plus the cheese samosas. The cheese samosas were incredible, and I suspect they make the cheese in the house. They were also kind enough to bring out a chicken and onion dish that was in a flatbread wrapped. We couldn't find it on the menu when we tried to look it up afterwards, but it was one of our favorite things we had. They also were kind enough to bring us some of the desserts they had made that were sitting on the buffet. They brought over.basbosa and baklava walnut. Both of the desserts were incredible. This is definitely a place we would drive from the south Bay just to come here to eat. A huge thanks to the people who work here, they were so kind and greeted us with open arms.

I can't recommend this restaurant more! The food is absolutely amazing. We had the chicken kabobs and the chicken rolls. Wonderful flavor and perfectly cooked. The hummus was the creamiest my husband has ever had. They also had cheese rolls as an appetizer that were incredible (like fried mozzarella but on a whole other level. The desserts were delicious! One had coconut and the other had nuts in a pastry that looked like a wonton. And the service was exceptional! So friendly and helpful. Definitely try this place-I can't imagine you could possibly be anything but thrilled with it!

I ordered take out from here for this first time. The Kabsa was amazing; the quality of chicken and lamb was very good. I'm definitely coming back

Yala Kebab serves some of the best Mansaf I've ever had! The lamb was tender, the rice flavorful, and the jameed sauce authentic and delicious. Great service and a cozy atmosphere highly recommended

Very nice and cozy place its very comfortable for families the staff were very friendly when it comes to food its really really really tasty i tried Mansaf it was one of the best i ate in any restaurant its like how it made in Jordan tastes fresh thank you for the service.

It is the same name so I am positing that they might be the same family? I am looking to thank the owners and management of the YALA Mediterranean Restaurant in Culver City which has closed. They always had the freshest offerings of ultra superb delicious Mediterranean foods and including freshest of fruit juices. It was so nice, too, to be a dog-friendly restaurant with an outdoor patio for that purpose. I hope to visit Yala Kabab Restaurant also. But I'm praying that YALA restaurant that I am familiar with has a possibility of reopening, too. Thank you for your time. The food looks delicious.

Thankful for the hands that make these delicious dishes! Warm. Traditional. Made with care & love. Our first visit was excellent; our tummies full and happy. The woman who helped us was kind and pretty sure the hands that cooked our fabulous meal. So for those who are in a hurry... be patient. The wait is worth it. Their chicken mandi is the best I've tasted in the OC area. Flavorful, juicy, just.... Yum. And may I add halal too. Which is always the plus. First timer and definitely going back for more. Restaurant meal but home cooked feel. Looooove.
